SubProof reminder texts and calls

SubProof helps contractors collect current certificates of insurance from their subcontractors. When a subcontractor's policy is about to expire, SubProof can remind them by email, text and an automated phone call, with a link to upload their renewal. Texts and calls are sent only to subcontractors who opt in themselves.

How subcontractors opt in

1. A contractor invites a subcontractor to SubProof. The subcontractor gets a private upload link by email, by text from the contractor's own phone, or by QR code in person.
2. The subcontractor opens the link and uploads their certificate of insurance.
3. On the confirmation page, the subcontractor can enter a mobile number and check an optional box, which is unchecked by default:

We record the date, time and exact wording each subcontractor agreed to.

What we send

• Texts 7, 3 and 1 days before a policy expires, and once if it lapses. Example: "SubProof for ABC Construction: your General liability expires in 3 days (October 17, 2026). Upload your renewal: https://app.subproof.co/s/… Reply STOP to opt out."
• One automated call 3 days before expiration: "Hi, this is SubProof calling on behalf of ABC Construction. This is just a reminder that your insurance policy on file with ABC Construction will expire in 3 days. Please upload a new policy by October 17th."
• Up to 4 texts and 1 call per policy renewal. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

We never send marketing texts, and we never share mobile numbers or opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

How to stop

• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
• Press 9 during a reminder call to stop calls and texts.
• Turn reminders off on your upload page at any time.
• Reply HELP for help, or email support@subproof.co.
